My Happiness

YEESSSS!!!!! Elizabeth has accepted my proposal. She actually likes me after these many long years. I am so glad she does because she is the most beautiful person that I have ever met. She is sweet and kind and doesn't just love me because I'm rich. She loves me because I'm me.

Lady Catherine

Lady Catherine has just visited ELizabeth to tell her not to marry me. How rude! Why would she do this? But Elizabeth's answer gives me hope. She told Lady Catherine that she would make no promises to not marry me. She clearly has fallen in love with me and I'm so excited about it!!

Engagement

I am very pleased to hear that my best friend, Mr. Bingley, has gotten engaged to Jane. THis is extremely pleasing to me. I was so hoping that they would get engaged so that Elizabeth could possibly forgive me for the wrong that I comitted against her sister. Elizabeth must love me after this!

Elizabeth

I have not talked with Elizabeth very much in my last to visits. Her behavior perplexes me and she seems to be acting differently than she normaly does. Could this mean that she finally likes me? Is it even possible? I must try to talk with her to find out for she is the sweetest girl one could ever meet.

My Advice to Bingley

I recently advised Bingley that he should see Jane again. I told him that I was wrong about Jane and that she did truly love him. I went over there with him in hopes that he could repair his previous relationship with her. I also want to do this so that Elizabeth would see me as a better person and not blame me for her sisters heartbreak. I want her to forgive me.

Mr. Bingley and I's visit to the Bennets

We just visited the Bennets. This was the first time that Bingley has seen the Bennets and Jane in along time. They all seemed in a bad mood about Lydia's marriage to Wickham except for Mrs. Bennet. Mrs. Bennet was also rude to me, for what reason, I know not. Overall it was a good visit except I didn't get to talk with Elizabeth for very long.

My talk with Wickham

After finding the whereabouts of Wickham, I was able to talk with him and Lydia. Lydia seemed positive that Wickham would propose to her eventually while Wickham had no plans of that happening. I was able to convince Wickham to marry Lydia, and I attended their marriage. This marriage saved the reputation of the Bennets because it is unacceptable for two people to elope without being married.
